MPD Clinical Trials Updates Detailed information on clinical trials targeted at Myeloproliferative disorder patients can be obtained from a number of sources. The following links contain MPD clinical trials that are recruiting for MPD patients. 1. The MPD Foundation has compiled its own list of clinical trials: Essential Thrombocythemia & Polycythemia Vera Clinical Trials Due to the proliferation of Myelofibrosis clinical trials they are separated them from trials focused on Polycythemia Vera and Essential Thrombocythemia only. 2. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) provides information about clinical trials at www.clinicaltrials.gov. Since the database is a repository of trials for all diseases, we recommend you obtain MPD specific trial information by typing the specific disease (eg. Polycythemia Vera) in the Search Clinical Trials box. 3. The National Cancer Institute (NCI) provides information on clinical trials for all cancers from around the world at www.cancer.gov/clinicaltrials/search. We recommend you obtain MPD specific trial information by selecting myeloproliferative disorders in Type of Cancer box. In the Subtype of Cancer box, select the specific MPD (e.g. essential thrombocythemia).
